Elementary PE Expectations
Students are expected to wear a PE uniform and athletic shoes on days they have Physical Education. If PE uniforms are not available students should wear dark sports clothing. During the first and last terms of the year students are required to bring a cap and wear sunscreen. They should also have a water bottle with their name and grade on it.

Grade 1
Students will be evaluated on their fitness level a couple of times during the first semester. The fitness areas tested will be flexibility, core strength, and endurance levels. Lessons during the first unit will focus on skipping, rolling, throwing and catching. The second and third unit will involve skill development in soccer and floor hockey.
Grade 2
Students will be evaluated on their fitness level a couple of times during the first semester. The fitness areas tested will be flexibility, core strength, and endurance levels. The first and third units will involve skill development in soccer and floor hockey. Lessons during the second unit will focus on skipping, rolling, throwing and catching.
